AfterDark's Interview with Annabel Gold and Jacqueline George

From the Salt Flats of the Northeastern Nevada desert to the tropics of Northern Queensland, today is an honor to interview two of the most intriguing authors of erotica from down under. Annabel Gold and Jacqueline George share for the first time a duo interview with AfterDark Online as they display a duo team writers that can express humor and chemistry.

1. Thank you for giving me the wonderful opportunity to interview you BOTH. Before we get started could you please tell us a little bit about yourself?

Bel - We both live in WONDERFUL Tropical North Queensland, Australia. Jac farther north and me in Townsville. I LOVE sexy stories and my phone-sex lover and I started composing them, which he wrote down and posted to me. I found Jacqueline George's great website, and approached her for ideas to get the letters into print.

Jac - Yes, and I was really surprised, but wanted to help. Then Bel sent me one of the stories and I was really impressed. It was written very forcefully, and in an simple, almost naive style. That was when we decide to cooperate. I provided the market experience and the connecting narrative, Bel provided the stories.

2. How long have you been writing erotic stories, and what other genres do you write?

Jac - Me? Oh, for ever. I don't write about sex all the time, but I would say about half my output is sexy. Other genres, well, all my stories are adventurous, and they are all Good Stories. That is the most important thing.

Bel: This is my first time. I'm a short-story virgin .HAHAHA

3. When did you know that writing this genre was for you? Did it come to you naturally, or was it something that has held your interest?

Bel - First time for everything!! This is the most fun thing I can think of doing!!

Jac - Bel is right. It surprises me that new authors are so ready to write about death, which they only experience once and isn't much fun, but get all tongue-tied when it comes to sex, which they do all the time and enjoy very much.

4. How do your friends and families feel about your writing?

Bel: OOOH NOOO... NOBODY except Jac even knows about this little lark...

Jac - We're all a bit strange up in Cooktown, and everyone thinks I am the friendly neighbourhood pornographer. Except the ones that actually read my books - they think I'm wonderful (that was a small joke, by the way). Seriously, they don't seem to mind at all.

5. When you read other people’s stories, what are you looking for to keep you interested? Are you looking for the excitement, romance, comedy, or etc?

Jac - I have some no-no's. They include extreme violence, kitchen sink stories, modern vampires, and James Bond types who zip around the world at will, without visas and carrying a small armoury. Those are the books I don't read. Any of the others might be good - depending on the author.

Bel: I only like VERY sexy, but I suppose, vanilla style, hetero stories. I like to hear it read and picture it happening to me, so it MUST be fun and feel good!!

6. What other books have you written?

Jac - Shall I start this one, Bel? I have 10 books out, including Looking at Me. About half are naughty. They are spy/terrorist, historical fiction, paranormal, lifestyle - why limit yourself?

Bel: None...That's why I thought Jac would be the perfect (sleeping) partner...I'm just JOKING...

7. In a short synopsis, please tell us about your book : "Looking at Me"

Jac - Bel should talk about Looking at Me - she is responsible for the stories.

Bel: Well its like I said. My phone-sex lover and I composed the stories. They are a mixture of memories, fact, fiction and MOSTLY, fantasies. And all about fun-filled erotic encounters, well described and EXTREMELY satisfying. (giggle)

8. What inspired you to write your story : Looking at Me

Bel: I thought it was a shame not to share these letters and looked and found a wonderful collaborator with a proven track record: JACQUELINE GEORGE....

9. In the time that you have been writing erotic stories, what kind of characters do you always enjoy writing about? (the hero/heroine, dom/sub, or etc?)

Jac - Believable ones! Seriously, every book is a fantasy at some level, but I want my stories to be fantasies you can believe in. Fantasies with their feet on the ground, I call them. That means the character have to be real too. Mine happen to be mostly female, probably because they contain a little of what I wish I was! You know, like me but not so ordinary.

10. When you’re creating a scene in your stories, how do you keep ideas fresh from other stories you’ve written?

Jac - Oh, that's easy. You just run out and have another sexy experience. Are you volunteering to help?

Bel : HAHAHA what she said!!

11. What advice would you give to other writers of erotica, especially to those that are starting out?

Bel: KEEP IT REAL!! It can be a fantastic fantasy, but it must be about believable adults who LOVE making love, having orgasms or just romping around together in some fabulous setting, or extreme privacy for tender moments.

Jac - to add to what Bel has said, I'd say Write -write-write. The more you do it, the better you will get. Once you've got enough experience under your belt, I'll take a story for the Yellow Silk Dreams series.

12. Where can your books be purchased, and if you have a website, blog, or networking sites where people can follow you and your work?

Bel : All of the above. The ebook is on Amazon, the paperback is on
and we have several blogs and the FABULOUS Yellow Silk Dreams webpage.

Thank you so much Ray, from both of us, and good bye for now from DOWNUNDER (geddit? HAHAHA)

Blurb: Shane is a wild force of nature. He loves his woman, and delights in her body. He thinks about sex all the time and, when he is away, he writes scorching stories about his lover and reads them to her over the phone. She becomes addicted to Shane and his stories, but what does the future hold for them both?

eBooks can be purchased through: Yellow Silk Dreams  a little bit of naughty...

This looked and felt so erotic that my excitement mounted rapidly and I started to lose control. You sensed my increased excitement and sat back, saying that you had never seen my prick so aroused and swollen. I agreed that it certainly felt like that. Now you explained you wanted to experience me coming into your mouth, to feel the force of the ejaculation, and the taste and amount of come I would give you. In the past, when we tried fellatio, having my cock entirely in your mouth put you off. It was too big and you were afraid it would choke you. You told me to say when I was ready, so you could take just my knob in your mouth.
By now, you were seriously stroking my cock; you studied me closely and concentrated on every stroke. With your other hand, you were pulling and twisting both your nipples in turn. Watching you so absorbed in sex was enough to start my orgasm.

  1. Oh Ray, I never dreamed this would look so fine!! Thank you so much for this wonder introduction to your readers. I DO hope they enjoy it.

  2. My pleasure, I really enjoyed this wonderful book. It was H-O-T!

  3. Yes, thanks for inviting us, Ray. And if you're ever in North Queensland, we'll show you a good time!

  4. Awesome interview Ray! I do believe I may just have to add "looking At Me" to my TBR pile and check out these authors!
Hmmm, perhaps even pen a small one for that Yellow Silk Dreams series if I can find the time. ;)
Off to check out the webpage now, as a good publisher & author should!
Comparison you know... And intrigue too of course! Lol

  5. Oh and I forgot to plug my own calls for submissions just in case either Annabel or Jacquline wish to diversify their epublishing career by another anthology addition!
Please check out our multiple calls at

We expect Ray will have his first work published through us soon enough so he can speak on our behalf if you like. ;) *naughty grin*
